This is a serious bummer. I was just sitting down to read all about your lives for the past week....hmm. Hope you get it figured out quickly.
If you end up having to get something new, I'd recommend a canon. Just about everyone I've ever know that has owned one model or another has liked it. Just in case you need that info.

unless your me... I like Nikon. :-) however Rachel is right everyone I asked for advise told me I needed to get a canon. I think they are both great cameras. Hope your week is going well. See you on Wednesday.
